Argentinians celebrated the National Voluntary Blood Donor Day

November 9th, was declared the National Voluntary Blood Donor Day in Argentina, in commemoration of Dr. Luis Agote, who practiced for the first time, in the year 1914, the technique of blood transfusion. According to the law 25,936, which expresses that it is important to create awareness in the population to include this practice as a regular, voluntary, solidary and anonymous act, destined for the benefit of those who need it.

Medicine students join the International Project “Life is in the Blood”

More than 70 students of the Medicine Faculty of the Veracruz University (UV) in Poza Rica of Hidalgo, Mexico joined the International Project “Life is in the Blood” of the Global Embassy of Activists for Peace (GEAP), while carrying out an awareness journey under the framework of the 6th International Marathon of Blood Donation (November 2015).

With solidary participation: Security Sciences joins the 6th Marathon “Life is in the Blood”

The Security Sciences University, located in the municipality of Santa Catarina, Nuevo León, Mexico, was the headquarters, on September 8th and 9th, 2015, where the Global Embassy of Activists for Peace (GEAP) carried out a blood drive marathon, under the framework of the 6th International Marathon “Life is in the Blood”, which counted with the participation of students and staff of this institution, and the support of the Blood Transfusion State Center, pertaining to this city.
