info_outline WHAT DO WE DO?

To achieve the objective, our organization promotes projects and campaigns aimed at the formation of the integral human being. According to Dr. William Soto Santiago:

“Education is a power and we are aware that it is the most powerful weapon to transform mentalities, and, therefore, it is a fundamental mechanism to modify societies, and consequently, to change the world.”

The projects and campaigns of our institution generate action towards the strengthening of universal values and the recognition of human dignity: love, friendship, kindness, trust, ethics, fellowship, honor, honesty, justice, freedom, respect, responsibility, solidarity, courage, truth, and peace; with the aim of promoting spaces of understanding for people from different cultures, nationalities, beliefs, and religions, within the framework of peaceful dialogue and the respect of Human Rights and the Rights of the Earth.

The activists for peace promote projects and campaigns in different fields where the human develops: family, community, educational institutions, non-governmental organizations, private and public organizations, States and/or nations, indigenous peoples, human groups and supranational instances.

READY TO BEGIN WORKING IN A PROJECT

Introduction

The objectives of the program Educating to Remember are: strengthen through an integral education the teaching of ethical, moral and spiritual principles and values; the reflection and practice of actions towards the respect of universal rights and human dignity, having as a foundation the study of the history of the Holocaust and other genocides, since these events left universal teaching that should be transmitted to present and future generations, to form humans that actively work for the peace of the human family.

The lessons of the past leave live teachings for humanity; events that allow students to learn about the consequences of intolerance, hate, discrimination, prejudice, stereotypes and disrespect for life and human dignity, even if they happened in another continent. The recognition of these events helps us identify the warning signals before the emergence of governments, extremists groups or people that carry out these actions, which can lead to another crime against the human family.

To remember the past is an obligation, creating awareness in present generations on the factors that led to different genocides and the circumstances that allowed them to happen, as well as the consequences and repercussions that were impressed upon humanity. Genocide is an international crime that must be recognized be every State, Government and country, with the aim of guaranteeing the future of our people, founded on justice, truth, harmony and equality.

Educating to Remember works in four action fields:

Introduction

The International Program Children of Mother Earth is a social program, created with the goal of contributing solutions and promoting citizen participation in actions for a sustainable development and future, which guarantees the continuity of human life in harmony with our Mother Earth.

This GEAP program is inserted in the UN Global Agenda for a Sustainable Development, since its objective is to protect, keep and restore Mother Earth with actions aimed at the promotion of a sustainable development and its four dimensions, harmoniously integrating everything social, environmental, cultural and economic in every field of action, projects and campaigns of said program. On the other hand, the protection of planet Earth is conceived according to what is stated in the document: “Transforming our world: The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development”:

http://www.un.org/es/comun/docs/index.asp?symbol=A/69/L.85&referer=/spanish/&Lang=E

“We are determined to protect the planet from degradation, including through sustainable consumption and production, sustainably managing its natural resources and taking urgent action on climate change, so that it can support the needs of the present and future generations.”

Dr. William Soto has presented his proposals in different international instances, stating that: “Mother Earth has life. Mother Earth is a living being. This is not a new concept. Our indigenous and native people in different continents consider it to be so. And that is why they care, protect, respect and honor her. That is why we are called to fraternally behave with our Mother Earth and with other living beings.”

Taking in consideration the ancestral, scientific and humanistic postulations that support these contributions, it is decisive and important the global recognition of Mother Earth as a living being, which gives rise to everything that is developed within her. And by considering her as a living being, which is subject to rights that every human being must respect.

This program is made up of a group of projects, campaigns and actions marked within four action fields: environmental governance and justice; environmental education, communication and culture for the peace of Mother Earth and a sustainable development; the promotion of ancestral knowledge of the indigenous people of Mother Earth for a sustainable development; and the restoration and protection of Mother Earth.

Introduction

Music is a power that directly reaches the soul of the individual; it becomes a message that goes from heart to heart: from the heart of the composer that impact the heart of the person.

And that power, working along with the word that is emitted, is very strong, and influences individuals, societies and governments; and it can be used to educate, teach and transmit values that benefit the social, intellectual, moral and spiritual development of an individual.

If we combine education with positive music, the teaching goes directly to the heart of the person and it will produce good results; because after it enters the soul, it will grow in the interior of the person, producing actions according to the nature (positive or negative) of the message that has been planted.

Music has a big influence in the behavior of the human being: it strengthens or soul, it also affects our body, stimulates our intelligence and creativity, and it influences the perception we have of the world. It has the power of moving the body, spirit and soul of the person, impacting the life of man from its origin.

Music is a power that can influence and promote great movements in the world, that can reinforce moral, ethical and spiritual values in the person, with either negative or positive objectives for the human family.

Aware of all the above, from the Global Embassy of Activists for Peace, Dr. William Soto Santiago proposes the program The Power of Music for the Peace and Happiness of the Human Being, which aims for the human being to become aware of the responsibility they have when choosing which music they are going to listen to and share with their children.

General objective

Promote the power of music as a tool to achieve the peace of the human being, by sowing ethical, moral and spiritual values in the heart of the people; harmonizing the individual with themself, with others and with Mother Earth; with the objetive of achieving the formation of healthy, integral and happy human beings.

Specific Objectives

  1. Promote a global change in the use of the musical frecuency from 440 to 432 Hertz (frecuency of peace).
  2. Impulse music as a power that places the human being in harmony with themself, with their family, community, nation and with Mother Earth.
  3. Include music as a method of integral teaching within the educational system at a global level.
  4. Promote music as an instrument to teach ethical, moral and spiritual values in the heart of the people.
  5. Establish music as a universal language.
