It is vital for any Chilean community or any community of the World to count with stocked blood banks. By obtaining 619 effective blood units, during the last blood donation marathons in Chile, the social responsibility acquired by the population is evident.
Invited to reflect on Higher Education, specifically on "The contribution of the Chair for Peace in the formation of the development of the integral human being", professors and scholars from important universities in Panama, Spain, Argentina and Brazil formed the second worktable of Educational Session at the Integration for Peace Summit CUMIPAZ Chile 2015.
A total of 2,057 effective blood units was the result of the organization of the Global Embassy of Activists for Peace (GEAP) between all regional coordinators, activists, volunteers, blood centers and the support of all Chilean citizens working in the 4th International Blood Drive Marathon, exceeding expectations and increasing the figures by 197% from the ones reached in the previous marathon held during the month of April 2014.
