Brazil is strategically located on the equator and has the privilege of having the “lungs of the world” within its boundaries, which is the densest jungle in the world that houses one of the greatest biodiversity.
With the theme: “Save the wildlife of our Mother Earth”, thousands of people in Latin America, United States and Spain raised their voices and made convincing actions by executing these Environmental Marches and Parades developed by the Global Embassy of Activists for Peace (GEAP), in unison to the annual summons of the United Nations.
Recognizing Mother Earth as a living being is one of the purposes of the Global Embassy of Activists for Peace (GEAP), which through the International Program "Children of Mother Earth" celebrated the International Day of Environmental Education, this January 26, 2016, where hundreds of people belonging to the giant of America, Brazil, joined this festivity.
On January 26, the World Environmental Education Day will be celebrated and in order to promote the importance of this date, the Global Embassy of Activists for Peace is organizing the PEACE FOR MOTHER EARTH FAIRS, which will be simultaneously held in more than 15 countries in America, the Caribbean and Spain.
