7,350 students in Guatemala receive environmental training for the care and restoration of Mother Earth

As part of the celebration of World Environment Day, held on June 5th every year, the GEAP developed various activities to raise awareness and promote care, protection and regeneration of Mother Earth in Guatemala. Activists and volunteers visited schools in Guatemalan towns, reaching 7,350 students in universities, secondary and primary grades.

In celebration of the International Environment Day (June 5th), volunteers of the Global Embassy of Activists for Peace (GEAP) in Spain, along with an estimated 2500 people, participated in different activities in favor of Mother Earth, which extended for a week, were promoted by the International Program “Children of Mother Earth”.

The Guardians for the Peace of Mother Earth in Honduras, celebrated World Environmental Day in various educational center of the country through environmental lectures on the 5R's (Reduce, Recycle, Reuse, Re-educate and Refuse), as part of the line of action of the International Program "Children of Mother Earth", promoting environmental education with values, and encouraging conservation practices , supporting environmental compromises and policies of the nation, to achieve a persistent ecology for the peace of Mother Earth.

The Global Embassy of Activists for Peace (GEAP), during World Environment Day, celebrated on June 5th. The worldwide recognition of our Mother Earth as a living being and the proclamation of a new proposal of the Universal Declaration of Mother Earth’s Rights, are the focus of educational talks that the Global Embassy of Activists for Peace is simultaneously carrying out in more than 15 countries of America, the Caribbean and Spain, to celebrate the International Day of Mother Earth, next April 22, 2016.
