Day 2: Spaces for a sustainable future within a corporate vision

Economic and social authorities, CEO’s of international companies, managers of organizations, foundations and business associations, CSR and sustainability experts, environmentalists and academics, are ready to start the second day of the Peace Integration Summit, CUMIPAZ 2018, where they will present their business vision for the sustainable development of humanity.

The Session Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) for Sustainable Development opens spaces for the presentation of successful cases in business management and CSR focused on sustainability, proposals for an economy and consumption focused on a sustainable future for peace and happiness of the human being, the respect of Mother Earth and the preservation of all her life systems.

The conferences and dialogue tables will take place at the Westin Camino Real Hotel in Guatemala City, from 9:00 a.m. local time, with outstanding participations such as:

Company: Human rights and peace, is a topic that Eli Bukspan, professor at the Ratzinger Law School of the Interdisciplinary Center in Herzliya, Israel, will discuss.

A panel of experts will address the segment: COMPANIES THAT CHANGE THE WORLD: CSR Differentiates the brand and generates happiness. Covered by: José Gómez, Head of Sustainability at Banco BAC - Credomatic (Guatemala), Cristina Bonillo, Director of Corporate Affairs and Sustainability, UNILEVER - Middle Americas, and Ana Chan, Manager of Corporate Affairs at WALMART for Mexico and Central America.

Another theme of the session is CSR and sustainable business models: a step towards the constitution of the rights of Mother Earth, which will be developed by experts in sustainability and the environment, highlighted in the international field: Alejandro Ruiz, Gustavo Yepes and Patricia León.

Workshop: Integral Leadership in CSR

CUMIPAZ emphasizes on business ethics and integral leadership to ensure the sustainable management of business organizations and institutions in the economic and social sphere of nations.

This 2018 edition will have the Workshop: Integral Leadership in CSR, dictated by Javier Fernández, Ph. D. in economics, winner of the J. A. Artigas National Award for the best Research in Social Sciences, and the Peter Drucker Award for Innovation in Management; president of MindValue, coaching for Senior Management (Spain).
