In an honorable session, the Departmental Council of the department of Itapua, in the city of Encarnacion, Paraguay, paid tribute to two peacemakers: Dr. William Soto Santiago, Executive President and Global Ambassador of the Activists for Peace, for his important work on the development of projects, campaigns and initiatives for the construction of a culture of peace, and the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the State of Israel in Paraguay, Peleg Pablo Levi, for his significant contribution in scientific, technical and economic cooperation towards the Republic of Paraguay.

The National Government of Paraguay, through the Ministry of Education and Culture (MEC) and the Global Embassy of Activists for Peace, held the II International Teaching Congress "Educating to Remember", on April 28, 2016, within the framework of the Cooperation Agreement between the two institutions.
