“Ciudad Feliz” continues receiving instruction in environmental values
GEAP Activists from Mar del Plata attend the invitation to teach the 5R's
Within the Program "Children of Mother Earth" of the Global Embassy of Activists for Peace (GEAP), educational lectures on the 5R's and the Universal Rights of Mother Earth were given at the Mar del Plata Municipal Elementary School Nº 15, in the 6°A and 6°B classrooms de Mar del Plata en Argentina; in response to the invitation made by professor Eugenia Girala.
The Lectures given were part of lessons and workshops that students did along with their teacher in June, relating to World Environment Day, where they promoted the recognition of Mother Earth as a Living Being, environmental values and the Rights of Mother Earth.
The teaching focused on the 5R’s: Recycle, Reduce, Reuse, Reject and Re-educate; environmental values taught by members of the 5R Club, six children along with their mascot, which left a didactic education, with the objective of creating recycling habits in students; and the transfer and sharing of knowledge with other classmates, homes and the community where they live, as a way of demonstrating what they learned.
