To celebrate the International Forests Day (March 21), the Global Embassy of Activists for Peace (GEAP) in Argentina, carried out the planting of more than 150 trees of native species.

The activity was organized by the Green District of the Urban Natural Reserve San Martin, Apex America and the GEAP, with the participation of the Undersecretary of Environment, José Roca; the deputy director of Espacios Verdes, Alicia Vanoli and the deputy director of Environmental Management, Analía Righetti.

The event was held within the framework of the International Program Children of Mother Earth and was intended to raise awareness among the population of Cordova on the care and preservation of different forest systems.

This year the event focused on forests and cities with the theme "Córdoba plant Lives". GEAP volunteers were part of this work to protect, save and contribute to the preservation of the ecological and environmental balance of the planet.
