Launch of the 6th Tree Week at FAM
In Buenos Aires, Argentina, different environmental institutions, together with the Global Embassy of Activists for Peace (GEAP) through the Environmental Movement Guardians for the Peace of Mother Earth, participated in the celebration of the 6th Tree Week, initiative of the Water and Youth Movement.
The event was held at the facilities of the Argentine Federation of Municipalities (FAM), with the aim of evaluating the works produced in previous editions.
In addition to presenting the projects currently carried out for the rescue of the environment, issues such as afforestation, climate change, industrial pollution, among others, were addressed.

Community work
The vice president of the Water and Youth Movement, Milagros Sánchez, said that this meeting unites the institutions to enhance community work.
On the other hand, Agronomist Anaya, a specialist in public tree management, said that the key is education and emphasized the importance of the municipality educating the community about the benefits that trees bring to the city.
The Guardians for Mother Earth movement has participated in this initiative for three years, with the purpose of raising awareness among the communities about the care, protection, and restoration of Mother Earth.
With the presence of different personalities and the general public, the guardians presented the Proclamation of Constitution of the Rights of Mother Earth, which the GEAP promotes.
