The Global Embassy of Activists for Peace (GEAP) in Panama, managed to raise awareness in important cities from the interior of this country to integrate them in the activities of the 4th International Blood Drive Marathon: Santiago, Las Tablas, Chitré, David and Aguadulce. Along with the work carried out in the capital, Panama City, where a total of 326 effective blood units were obtained.

Quito, Macachí, Ibarra, Santo Domingo de Tsachila, Machala and Guayaquil are the Ecuadorian cities that were added to the 4^th International Blood Drive Marathon, organized by the Global Embassy of Activists for Peace (GEAP), as part of their international campaign "Life is in the Blood", and along with state and private agencies were able to collect 2,045 effective blood units.

The city of Santa Cruz in Bolivia leads the list of the 10 cities that were added to the 4th International Blood Drive Marathon "Life is in the Blood", throughout the months of October and most of November, organized by the Global Embassy of Activists for Peace (GEAP), and coordinated with the blood banks of different regions of Bolivia. With the participation of men and women between the ages of 18 and 65, Bolivia reached a total of 3.121 effective units.

With educational marathons in shopping malls, universities, schools, the Global Embassy of Activists for Peace (GEAP), in partnership with the different blood banks of the country, worked to promote the 4^th International Blood Drive Marathon, where education and public awareness on the need of safe blood became the main objective on this occasion.
 

With the support of 10 cities

With the cooperation of medical centers, hospitals and governmental entities, and the participation of the Activists for Peace, volunteers and the general public, Argentina reached 2,350 effective units of blood, during the 4^th International Blood Drive Marathon: “Life is in the Blood”, organized by the Global Embassy of Activists for Peace (GEAP) during the months of October and November 2014.

Numerous cities joined the campaign “Life is in the Blood”.

Eight cities in the United States were chosen by the Global Embassy of Activists for Peace to carry out the 4^th International Blood Drive, “Life is in the Blood”, in coordination with the American Red Cross, Oklahoma Blood Institute, Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center, Carter Blood Care, South Texas Blood Tissue Center and United Blood Services. 525 effective blood units were obtained in this country. 

Central America continues to join these blood drives.

Nicaragua formed part of this 4^th International Blood Drive Marathon, “Life is in the Blood”, a project carried out by the Global Embassy of Activists for Peace (GEAP), contributing 486 effective blood units to save hundreds of lives in this Central American country.

Spain united with the 4^th International Blood Drive

Spain was the European country where the Global Embassy of Activists for Peace carried out the 4^th International Blood Drive Marathon, along with coordinators, activists, health centers, mass media and volunteers from Madrid, Tarragona, Salou and Barcelona. During October and November 2014, a total of 1,750 effective blood units were collected, surpassing the amount collected during the marathon in April, 2014.

A total of 2,057 effective blood units was the result of the organization of the Global Embassy of Activists for Peace (GEAP) between all regional coordinators, activists, volunteers, blood centers and the support of all Chilean citizens working in the 4^th International Blood Drive Marathon, exceeding expectations and increasing the figures by 197% from the ones reached in the previous marathon held during the month of April 2014.
