In Bogota the "Justice for Peace" International Judicial Forum "New Proposals for the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide," was inaugurated, with the objective to generate constructive critical thinking about the insight of the international crime of genocide.
Specialists in the areas of International Criminal Justice, Genocide, terrorism, violation of human rights, among others, from ECUADOR, COLOMBIA, BOSNIA, ISRAEL, PARAGUAY, VENEZUELA AND ARGENTINA form the delegation of academics, judges and jurists who will come to Buenos Aires, Argentina, this November 17, as the International Judicial Forum lecturers invited by the Global Embassy Activists for Peace in the framework of international project "Justice for Peace".
The Holocaust or Shoah was the systematic murder and bureaucratically organized genocide of more than 20 million people in Europe, committed by the Nazi regime and its collaborators.
On September 12, 2014, the Forum "Educating to Remember" was carried out in Paraguay. The event was held at the Catholic University Campus in Pedro Juan Caballero, capital of the Amambay Department, before the massive presence of students of the institution.
The Traces to Remember project is being carried out at the Congress of Baja California; commemorative plaques have already been exhibited in the vast majority of countries across Latin America through this project.
The presentation of the plaque was hosted by Congressman Felipe de Jesus Mayoral Mayoral, President of the Board of Directors of the State Congress; Congresswoman Monica Bedoya Serna, President of the Finance and Administration Committee; and Congressman Juan Manuel Molina Garcia, President of the Justice Committee.
Thus the Ambassador of Poland in the Aztec country received the Holocaust commemorative plaque last August 19 from Global Ambassador of Peace, Dr. William Soto Santiago. The plaque, which was unveiled earlier at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de Mexico where it remained in exhibition for the student community, contains the hand prints of survivor, Mr. Bedrich Steiner, his daughter and his grandson, and will stay at this embassy for 30 days.
Global Ambassador, Dr. William Soto, visionary and project creator of the International Judicial Forums: "JUSTICE FOR PEACE," pointed out the importance of being vigilant of global alarm signals that may indicate the presence of serious human rights violations which can trigger genocides, as has unfortunately already happened.
