United States│ Mayors join the GEAP approach
See Gallery19 mayors of the United States of America issued resolutions in favor of the Proclamation of the Constitution of the Rights of Mother Earth, presented by the volunteers of the Global Embassy of Activists of Peace (GEAP) in that country.
Municipal authorities of the state of Texas, New Mexico, New Jersey, Massachusetts and North Carolina, granted to the representatives of the GEAP in the sessions of the Municipal Councils and of the meetings in the offices of the burgomasters. From January to August 2018, peace activists visited different governmental entities with the purpose of promoting the recognition of Mother Earth as a living being and the proclamation of the Constitution of their rights.
Citizens of each locality participated in the acts where the proclamation was read that defends the rights and contributes with the preservation of the ecological balance of the planet Earth.
In each city the first authority assumed the commitment to promote the care and protection of the planet in the communities administered by its jurisdiction.
