Argentina Blood drive encourages culture for life

As part of the Integral Program of Blood Donation “Life is in the Blood”, the Global Embassy of Activists for Peace (GEAP) in Argentina, carried out a blood drive in the Regional Hemotherapy Center of the province of Mendoza, where 8 blood units were obtained voluntarily.

This program has as purpose to contribute to the formation of a culture of voluntary, altruist and regular safe blood donation, to increase the active and effective participation of the citizens, to guarantee the supply of blood and its components to all the people who require it.

The blood drive had the participation of the habitants of the community and of the activists for peace. During the event, informative brochures were distributed about the importance about being a voluntary blood donor.
