It is vital for any Chilean community or any community of the World to count with stocked blood banks. By obtaining 619 effective blood units, during the last blood donation marathons in Chile, the social responsibility acquired by the population is evident.

The desire of being “heroes for life” is transcendental in the city of Pereira, Colombia

On Thursday, May 14, 2015, the main streets of the city of Pereira, capital of the Departamento de Risaralda in Colombia, were lighten up with the campaign “Life is in the Blood” which the Global Embassy of Activists for Peace (GEAP) carries out with a parade called “March for Peace”.

The GEAP participated last April 1st, 2015, in the march "Preventing to continue growing”, organized by the Provincial Center of Hemotherapy of Resistencia, dependent of the public health ministry of Chaco, with the project "Do not forget me" of the National Institute of Social Services for the Retired and Pensioned (PAMI), with the purpose of creating awareness in the population of this province, on the importance of being voluntary and regular blood donors.

Blood Donation in Guatemala continues to be a necessary and habitual work in health centers

Promoting a culture of voluntary and habitual blood donation in young people and adults, at the Pedro de Bethancourt National Hospital located in Antigua Guatemala, Sacatepequez, a marathon of blood donation was held on Thursday, February 26 of this current year.
