The GEAP present in the march "Prevent to continue growing" encouraging a voluntary and regular blood donation
As part of the promotional activities to encourage regular and voluntary blood donation, the GEAP participated last April 1st, 2015, in the march "Preventing to continue growing”, organized by the Provincial Center of Hemotherapy of Resistencia, dependent of the public health ministry of Chaco, with the project "Do not forget me" of the National Institute of Social Services for the Retired and Pensioned (PAMI), with the purpose of creating awareness in the population of this province, on the importance of being voluntary and regular blood donors.
Dr. Hugo Sager, Minister of Health of Chaco, after his opening words, stated that the campaign "Life is in the Blood - Donating the Sap of Life", carried out by the GEAP will be held in most important cities, not only of this province, but it will extend throughout the entire country; with the purpose of promoting love for life and the respect for human dignity, enhancing the quality of life of millions of patients, having stocked and safe the blood inventories.
Personalities like: the Director of PAMI, Ms. Cristina Aboiez, the current candidate for governor of Chaco, Mr. Domingo Peppo and in representation of Hemotherapy of the Hospital, Mr. Julio C. Perrando, volunteer activists of the GEAP, among other authorities participated in the march.
