Universidad Católica in Encarnación, Paraguay hosts various government representatives for the University Forum: "The Holocaust: Paradigm of Genocide"

With the presence of the mayor of the city, Universidad Catolica officials, congressmen of the nation, representatives from the District Attorney’s Office, the Judiciary Branch, students and the general public, the first "Educating to Remember - The Holocaust: Paradigm of Genocide" university forum was held at the University’s Itapua Campus in Encarnacion, Paraguay.

Two years after the project Traces to Remember was introduced in Panama City, touring important diplomatic, governmental and educational institutions, the project is introduced for the first time to David – Chiriqui, the second largest province in the country.

The plaque of Holocaust survivor, Dr. James Segal, was unveiled on June 4 in a ceremony filled with emotion on behalf of more than 300 guests gathered at the auditorium of the ISAE University.

The Global Embassy of Activists for Peace held an exhibition on Tuesday, May 27 titled: “Educating to Remember - The Holocaust: Paradigm of Genocide” at the Eurobuilding Hotel in Caracas, Venezuela. Dr. William Soto, Global Ambassador, attended the exhibition among other national and international personalities.

In coordination with the directors of the institution, lectures and documentaries were provided about the history of the Holocaust. More than 300 parents had an opportunity to discuss and reflect on the factors that led to the Nazi barbarity during WWII; intolerance, lack of respect for life and human dignity, discrimination, and lack of sensitivity, among others.
