1,200 students at the University Forum “Educating to Remember”

En Monterrey, México

El auditorio  principal  “Gumersindo Cantú Hinojosa” de la Facultad de Contaduría Pública y Administración de la Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León, Monterrey, se llenó con mil doscientos estudiantes quienes asistieron al Foro Universitario “El Holocausto: Educando para Recordar”, realizado el 29 de Enero de 2015, y organizado por la Embajada Mundial de Activistas por la Paz para recordar y honrar las víctimas del Holocausto de la segunda guerra mundial. La Directora MAE. María Eugenia García de la Peña asistió al evento y la acompañaron distinguidas personalidades del ámbito estudiantil, catedráticos, alumnos y público en general.

For the past 32 years, September 21 is known, worldwide, as the "International Day of Peace", where the ideals of peace among all nations and peoples are strengthened. The General Assembly of the United Nations has spent this year celebrating the sacred right the people have for peace and to promote its realization.

In Panama, Forum “Educating to Remember” in commemoration of the 25th anniversary of the Convention on the Rights of Children

The Global Embassy of Activists for Peace (GEAP) in Panama continues its tour through high schools of this country with the Forums “Educating to Remember”. This time it reached the Educational Center of the Republic of Honduras , public school of Pacora Center, where 65 ninth grade students received teachings related to the topic “The Holocaust, Paradigm of Genocide”, in the framework of the celebration of the 25th anniversary of the Convention on the Rights of Children.
