Mauricio López is currently the executive director of the Colombian Network of the United Nations Global Compact. Likewise, he serves as technical vice president of the National Association of Public Services and Communications Companies (ANDESCO).
López is a civil engineer and magister in Hydroelectric Power Plants of Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, Colombia.
During his career as an engineer he has been national manager of the Colombian Association of Sanitary and Environmental Engineering; manager of the Aqueducts of Zulia (Venezuela) for the Triple A of Barranquilla; and director of Subscribers of the Company of Aqueduct and Sewerage of Bogota.
He was a consultant with the Corporation for Socioeconomic and Technological Research of Colombia (CINSET). University professor with more than 30 years of experience; author of books and environmental manuals for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs).
