MARÍA PAULINA AGUIRRE SUÁREZ is president of the National Court of Justice of the Republic of Ecuador and member of the Labor Chamber.
Doctor in Jurisprudence, lawyer and graduate in Social Sciences, Politics and Economics, graduated from the National University of Loja, superior specialist in Administrative Law by the Universidad Andina Simón Bolívar, higher diploma in Procedural Law, specialist in Civil Procedural Law and magister in Law Procedural Mention Civil Law by the Indoamerican Technological University.
She served as the rapporteur secretary of the Second Chamber of the Superior Court of Quito, secretary of the presidency of the Superior Court of Quito, judge of tenancy of Quito, Labor judge of Pichincha, minister and president of the First Labor Chamber, Childhood and Adolescence of the Superior Court of Quito, judge and president of the First Labor Court, Childhood and Adolescence of the Provincial Court of Pichincha; and president of the Labor Chamber of the National Court of Justice.
He is an active member of the Latin American Federation of Magistrates, the Exchange Academy of Judicial Studies, the Institute of Procedural Law and the Institute of Labor and Social Security Law. She is the executive director of the International Judicial Academy and the Academy of Judicial Exchange and Studies headquarters in Ecuador and has been president of the Association of Judges of Ecuador.
