Mexico continues adding volunteers during the 7th International Blood Drive Marathon
With the purpose of promoting love for life and the respect for human dignity, having supplied and stocked the blood inventories, the Global Embassy of Activists for Peace (GEAP) is developing the 7th International Blood Drive Marathon in 20 countries simultaneously; among them, Mexico, where activists have been encouraging a voluntary donation culture, reaching each time that more health institutions, blood banks, governmental institutions, private entities, universities, schools and thousands of donors, unite to this labor as an act of love to others.
Control Flow Inc. joins to the voluntary donation culture
Among the entities that have joined to the voluntary, altruist and regular safe blood donation in Mexico, we found Control Flow Inc., the drilling company with worldwide recognition, located at the Industrial Park Tabasco Business Center, in Cunduacán, Tabasco.
That is where the awareness and consciousness activity took place, where together with Cinthya García Gómez, they gathered the administrative and control staff with the voluntary activists of the GEAP, in the audiovisual room, at 10:00 in the morning, on May 14 of the present year.
The informative talk was performed with the help of handouts and the projection of a presentation, which made known the labor carried out under the Program: “Life is in the Blood”. Dr. Yunia Ramos Quevedo was also present, who in a simple and clear manner, answered the doubts related to blood transfusions.
In this way, the staff of the company was motivated to donate, raising the number of voluntaries, who subsequently will be making this humanitarian act in the near hospitals that also developed this work in coordination with the GEAP.
South Part of the state of Veracruz
Likewise, in the state of Veracruz, through May 23 to the 28, 2016, awareness talks were scheduled in different educational institutions and municipal governments, with the participation of Héctor Hernández Manuel, president of the municipality of San Pedro Soteapan, and Jesús Cruz Hernández, president of the municipality of Mecayapan, who was accompanied by his work team.
As result of the work carried out by the Embassy with the regional hospital “General Miguel Alemán González” of Oluta-Acayucan, 10 units of effective blood were collected during the week.
