A journey that contributes to the formation of a culture of voluntary, altruistic and regular donation of safe blood

Argentina

Activists for Peace develop different activities that promote the active and effective participation of citizens.

The Integral Program “Life is in the Blood”, is a social intervention project proposed and designed by GEAP Executive President, Dr. William Soto Santiago, to contribute to the active and effective participation of citizens in the formation of a culture of voluntary, altruistic and regular donation of safe blood.

In support of this initiative, the GEAP volunteers in Argentina, on July 11 and 25, made a tour of different cities in the country, inviting people to become voluntary, altruistic and regular blood donors; and in this way they can supply the blood banks of the nation, as well as demonstrate kindness and brotherhood for their fellowmen.

Through informative brochures and awareness talks, the Activists for Peace carried a message of love and solidarity to each visited community, where the inhabitants were very receptive. In the province of Mendoza, an information stand was placed in the Sarmiento Pedestrian, where attendees received information about the blood donation process. The participants were summoned to the Hemotherapy Center of Mendoza, where the day will be held.
