In Argentina, training GEAP volunteers on Blood Donation is a fundamental task

In the city of Resistencia, Argentina, a workshop on blood donation was given within the project “Life is in the Blood, which continues to be an essential work for the volunteers of the GEAP, thus facilitating more knowledge, which integrally benefits the activists for Peace.

     In the city of Resistencia, Argentina, a workshop on blood donation was given within the project “Life is in the Blood, which continues to be an essential work for the volunteers of the GEAP, thus facilitating more knowledge, which integrally benefits the activists for Peace. 

 The workshops started with information presented by the Hemotherapy Center of the Hospital Perrando, under the direction of Dr. Traskauska. Then the technician Maria Ines Lubary gave useful strategies, mainly addressing the dimensions of work when the complete theme of blood donation is studied, reminding everyone present on the importance of these continuous preparations and highlighting the wonderful work carried out by every health campaign.

    In this way, the volunteers of peace shared information among themselves, making possible a greater understanding in the phases related to how blood works. It is worth mentioning that these trainings incorporate elemental content, which provides optimal outcomes for the activists, who at the same time achieve greater awareness in the intention to transcend in humanity.

    Complementing the above mentioned, dates were set for the next workshops that will be carried out, with the purpose of progressing in the understanding of blood donations. This formation will allow the activists to later multiply what has been learned in each work unit.

     Argentina and other countries have also made the initiative to strengthen the principles of the activist for peace, by promoting necessary abilities for the development as individuals, through activities like these, which create awareness among those interested, they reinforce what they have learned, and they project motivation. They also socialize the precise points that must be known by every person who wishes to be part of a culture of voluntary and regular blood donation.
