On April 13, the blood drives began at the University of Valle de México and at the Home Depot company, as part of the 7th International Marathon “Life is in the Blood”. The journey through life was carried out by the GEAP in conjunction with the State Center for Blood Transfusion.

The GEAP volunteers, from April 13 to 15, obtained: 106 effective blood units in the UVM, and in the Home Depot branches, 33 registries and 20 effective units.

With a total of 530 registries and 126 effective units of safe blood, the Activists for Peace, through the implementation of the Communicational Educational Program for the formation of a culture of voluntary, altruistic and regular donation of safe blood (PEC LIFE), increase the number of voluntary donors in the country.
