Esmeralda Arosemena de Troitiño

Esmeralda Arosemena of Troitiño, is currently the integrative commissioner of the Inter-American Court of Human Rights (IACHR).

She participated in the Special Committee for the proposal of constitutional amendments in Panama of 2011, and in the Committee for the elaboration of the Constitutional Procedural Code of 2016.


Ernesto Samper Pizano

The Colombian politician, Ernesto Samper Pizano, was president of the Republic of Colombia in the period of 1994-1998. He studied economy and law in the Pontifical Xavierian University.

Samper served as General Secretary of the Liberal Party. Belisario Betancur, president of the Republic (1982-1986), named him extraordinary ambassador before the Assembly of the United Nations, in New York.

He was elected representative in 1984 and senator in 1986. He also founded and directed the Institute of Liberal Studies.


Rafaa Ben Achour

Rafaa Ben Achour, was elected Judge of the African Court of Human Rights and of the Peoples (Tunez) in June of 2014, for a period of six years.

He was a member of the African Union Commission on International Law (AUCIL), and member of the International Institution of Human Rights in Strasbourg (2003).

Ben Achour, also participated as a founding member of the International Academy of Constitutional Law, and occupied the position of secretary general of this organization. Likewise, he has duties as substitute of the European Commission for Democracy through Law.
