The city of Santa Cruz in Bolivia leads the list of the 10 cities that were added to the 4th International Blood Drive Marathon "Life is in the Blood", throughout the months of October and most of November, organized by the Global Embassy of Activists for Peace (GEAP), and coordinated with the blood banks of different regions of Bolivia. With the participation of men and women between the ages of 18 and 65, Bolivia reached a total of 3.121 effective units.

With educational marathons in shopping malls, universities, schools, the Global Embassy of Activists for Peace (GEAP), in partnership with the different blood banks of the country, worked to promote the 4^th International Blood Drive Marathon, where education and public awareness on the need of safe blood became the main objective on this occasion.
 

A total of 2,057 effective blood units was the result of the organization of the Global Embassy of Activists for Peace (GEAP) between all regional coordinators, activists, volunteers, blood centers and the support of all Chilean citizens working in the 4^th International Blood Drive Marathon, exceeding expectations and increasing the figures by 197% from the ones reached in the previous marathon held during the month of April 2014.

Central America continues to join these blood drives.

Nicaragua formed part of this 4^th International Blood Drive Marathon, “Life is in the Blood”, a project carried out by the Global Embassy of Activists for Peace (GEAP), contributing 486 effective blood units to save hundreds of lives in this Central American country.

With the cooperation of medical centers, hospitals and governmental entities, and the participation of the Activists for Peace, volunteers and the general public, Argentina reached 2,350 effective units of blood, during the 4^th International Blood Drive Marathon: “Life is in the Blood”, organized by the Global Embassy of Activists for Peace (GEAP) during the months of October and November 2014.
