Argentine provinces working towards a voluntary culture of blood.

The Global Embassy of Activists for Peace (GEAP) in Argentina, during the month of October held blood donation drives in the framework of the 6th. International Marathon “Life is in the Blood”, where six provinces of the country undertook a race for the benefit of their peers with the firm intention of supplying the blood banks, reaching a total of 1,075 voluntary blood donors.

The Global Embassy of Activists for Peace (GEAP) in Guatemala held from September 2 to December 19, 2015, the 6th International Marathon "Life is in the Blood", achieving a total of 1,127 effective blood units

Through talks, trainings, advertising posters and visits to the media, the importance of being a voluntary donor was reported. Buenos Aires, Olavarría, Azul, Lomas de Zamora, Resistencia, Chaco, Mendoza and Córdoba, were the cities where the GEAP volunteers informed the community about the 6th International Blood Drive Marathon: "Life is in the Blood", during the months of September and October 2015, for the month of November to start with the blood drives in all the country.
