Blood Drive in Lakeland, Florida, USA, increased the number of voluntary donors at the One Blood Health Center

For Dr. William Soto Santiago, CEO of the Global Embassy of Activists for Peace, promoting a culture of voluntary and habitual safe blood donation

“is part of the integral peace of the human family. Because a family with health issues in their home, and in need of blood to better their health, cannot have peace without that resource; but if the blood they need is provided and administered, peace can be return to that family.”

In Lakeland, FL, USA, GEAP volunteers committed with the Integral Program “Life is in the Blood”, held a blood drive that counted with the support of the citizens of the state and One Blood Health Center, and sponsored by Sam’s Club.

Lisa Hofbauer, One Blood coordinator, thanked the activists for peace, who, by means of strategies established by the Integral Program “Life is in the Blood”, increased the number of volunteer donors for the institution. GEAP regional coordinator in Central Florida, Mr. Milton Rivera, will continue to carry out blood drives throughout the year in order to promote a culture of voluntary, altruistic and habitual safe blood donation in society.
