A commission of the GEAP represented by Gabriela Lara and various members of the ALIUP made an official visit on August 23, 2018, to the Sub-Secretary of Higher Education of the Secretariat of Public Education of Mexico, Dr. Rodolfo Tuirán Gutiérrez, who received the project Chair for the Peace and happiness of the integral human being; for which he said that happiness is a current theme in all the topics of modern society, qualifying it as a primary purpose in human life.

He also expressed his gratitude towards the GEAP for the holding the II International Assembly of ALIUP members, where the Mexican Republic has a large number of institutions linked to the network.
In the same way, the Sub-Secretary was invited to the fourth edition of CUMIPAZ that will be held in Guatemala City, from October 1 to 6, 2018.
