For the past 32 years, September 21 is known, worldwide, as the "International Day of Peace", where the ideals of peace among all nations and peoples are strengthened. The General Assembly of the United Nations has spent this year celebrating the sacred right the people have for peace and to promote its realization.

In Panama, positive developments in voluntary blood donations: National Awareness in Panama in the 4th International Blood Drive Marathon

The Global Embassy of Activists for Peace (GEAP) in Panama, managed to raise awareness in important cities from the interior of this country to integrate them in the activities of the 4th International Blood Drive Marathon: Santiago, Las Tablas, Chitré, David and Aguadulce. Along with the work carried out in the capital, Panama City, where a total of 326 effective blood units were obtained.

The Global Embassy of Activists for Peace (GEAP) in Panama continues its tour through high schools of this country with the Forums “Educating to Remember”. This time it reached the Educational Center of the Republic of Honduras , public school of Pacora Center, where 65 ninth grade students received teachings related to the topic “The Holocaust, Paradigm of Genocide”, in the framework of the celebration of the 25th anniversary of the Convention on the Rights of Children.

The coordination in Panama of the Global Embassy of Activists for Peace with the National Blood Program of this country, started the promotion and diffusion marathons to encourage voluntary blood donations in different public and private universities of the country, starting with the Latin University of Panama (ULP), where 32 effective blood units were collected, from which the Hospital Luis “Chicho” Fabrega de Panama was benefited.

A reception in honor of the official visit to Panama of the Speaker of the Israeli Knesset, Yuli Yoel Edelstein, gathered distinguished political authorities, members of the business world, community leaders and members of the Jewish community to spend a night in solidarity with Israel and for the peace of the Middle East.

Dr. William Soto, Ambassador of the Global Embassy of Activists for Peace, was invited by the Israeli Ambassador to Panama, Alexander Galilee, who expressed his appreciation to Dr. Soto for accepting his invitation and for the work he carries out in favor of world peace.

A meeting was held between Panama’s Minister of Government, Milton Henríquez, and Global Ambassador Dr. William Soto, in the conference room of the National Palace in Panama City. The meeting focused on the experiences and projects of the Global Embassy of Activists for Peace, seeking to work together and promote momentous changes in Panama’s national public policies.
