“Traces to Remember” will be presented in Casa Ronco, Argentina

In regards to an exposition of a plaque in the form of the David Star, which contains the hand prints of a survivor of the Holocaust, as evidence that Nazism was not able to extinguish the Hebrew people. The gathering will be at Casa Ronco at 7:00 pm.

The exposition of the display “Traces to Remember,” organized by the Secretary of Culture and Education, along with the Global Embassy of Activists for Peace, will be carried out next Friday at 7:00 pm at Casa Ronco: San Martin 362 Street. And, accordance with the same objectives, the House of Anne Frank will be displayed simultaneously.

The Global Embassy of Activists for Peace created the project “Traces to Remember,” with the objective of maintaining alive the testimony of the survivors of the Holocaust to transmit, to the present and future generations, the universal lessons of this unfortunate chapter, that by its characteristics and conditions divided the history of humanity into a before and an after.

This display consists of the exhibition of a plaque in the form of the Star of David, that contains the hand prints of a survivor of the Holocaust, just like the handprints of one of their children or of one of the their grandchildren (and of one of the great grandchildren, if there are any), as an evidence that Nazism was not able to extinguish the Hebrew people. The plaque is accompanied by laminate that contains text with a brief description of what happened in the Holocaust and a summary of the story of the survivor.

Objectives of the Project

Coordinate strengths with the institutions of Higher Education to promote, diffuse, and educate in an effective way to the current generations, about the importance of the privilege of the rights and fundamental freedoms inherent in all the individuals.

Prevent the repetition of acts such as the Holocaust, through the preventative actions and in defense of Human Rights, at a local, regional, national, and international level.

Educate further than the transference of knowledge through the formation of Human Rights, values, and universal principles, such as a way to establish the fundamental pillars to reach the peace of the human family.
