Speech in Commemoration of the International Day of Remembrance of the Victims of the Holocaust, Congress of Peru - Mr. Hirsz Litmanowicz
Mr. Hirsz Litmanowicz
Holocaust survivor
I want to thank all those present who are with us one this memorable day; for me it represents a special memorable day.
When I was younger than 12 years I crossed the door of Auschwitz, where I also lost all my family. Happily I was able to leave a little bit before my end would come.
I thank the Global Embassy of Activists for Peace, for their work, promotion of the principles of love, for life, respect and human dignity, and the preaching of tolerance, and equality and liberty.
In the same way, I want to thank Peru because to me it welcomed me with all the affection and gave me all the possibilities to be able to develop as a man post-war.
As of today, seventy years have passed that I have been present in Peru.
Thank you very much.
