More than 200 higher level universities attend the launch of the Chair for Peace

More than 200 higher level universities attend the launch of the Chair for Peace

On August 23 and 24, 2018, at 8:00 am, in the Ricardo Flores Magón Room and the Humanities Auditorium, of the National Autonomous University of Mexico, UNAM, more than 200 member institutions of the International Alliance of Universities for Peace, ALIUP will meet for the official launch of the Chair for Peace and Happiness of Integral Human Being, which is an academic project built on the basis of the proposals socialized by the various institutions in the different international and national seminars, promoted by this network in several Latin America countries.

In the same event, other institutions will be linked to the ALIUP through the signing of Cooperation Agreements. Academic institutions of higher education, organizations, academic authorities and university professors from Costa Rica, Paraguay, Peru, Colombia, Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic and Mexico will also be participating trough lectures, speeches and related experiences linked to work in the educational field, in addition to those carried out within the framework of the Alliance promoting academic, scientific, and cultural exchange that will contribute to the construction of an integral education for sustainable development, the strengthening of Human Rights and happiness of the Human Family and Mother Earth.
