A donor can save several lives
The work began with awareness talks by students of the Faculty of Medicine and GEAP volunteers, where they highlighted that the decision to donate blood can save lives, and even if the blood is separated by components, which can be used individually for patients with specific diseases.
The director of the Faculty of Medicine, Arturo Navarrete, thanked the EMAP for carrying out this type of activities where the principle of love and the universal values of the human family is strengthened; because the blood donation is a voluntary, solidary, civic, altruistic, responsible and habitual act.
«I thank the Global Embassy of Activists for Peace and the young students, and once again we reiterate our support; and I congratulate myself for that, that the Health Sciences unit carries out these activities that we know will be of benefit and usefulness for the health of a human being in society", said Navarrete.
