“The 21st century has also been marked by violence, conflicts and wars in different parts of the world, but just like there are groups that cause those social disruptions, there is a bigger group of people who long for peace, who want to live in peace, and in order to achieve it, we must work for it. That is the great challenge of our current society; that is the flag of the Global Embassy of Activists for Peace, through which thousands and thousands of activists and volunteers are working for the ideal of humanity: to live in peace.”

“In our hands, we have an essential tool for the prevention of genocide as a crime against humanity. An education that is centered on human values, constitutional principles, an education based on respect for the differences and the autonomy of peoples, where cultural and religious diversity, as well as the resolution of conflicts of interest, will allow us to strengthen the hope for a harmonic and peaceful coexistence.

Nelson Mandela was correct in saying: ‘Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.’

Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world. Professors, that is the most powerful weapon: education.

Thank you very much.”
