These were the words delivered by Dr. William Soto, Global Ambassador of the Global Embassy of Activists for Peace, as he proposed that the Legislative Assembly introduce a course of study into the educational curriculum based on "The Holocaust as the Paradigm of Genocide."
On July 3, 2013, Simon Bolivar Library at the National University of Panama, received the project "Traces to Remember" from (USMA) Universidad Católica Santa María La Antigua. The plaque had been stationed at USMA for one month.
In observance of the International Day in Commemoration of the victims of the Holocaust, the event began with a moment of silence, in accordance with United Nations Resolution 60/7 which urges State Members to implement programs to remember the lessons that this stage in history left for humanity.
