“Genocide is Neither Inevitable nor Accidental. The Holocaust Did Not Happen Abruptly or by Chance.”

These were the words delivered by Dr. William Soto, Global Ambassador of the Global Embassy of Activists for Peace, as he proposed that the Legislative Assembly introduce a course of study into the educational curriculum based on "The Holocaust as the Paradigm of Genocide."

The Commemorative Plaque Traces to Remember makes its seventh stop at the National University of Panama.

On July 3, 2013, Simon Bolivar Library at the National University of Panama, received the project "Traces to Remember" from (USMA) Universidad Católica Santa María La Antigua. The plaque had been stationed at USMA for one month.

Holocaust Victims are Remembered at the Office of the Ombudsman in Panama

In observance of the International Day in Commemoration of the victims of the Holocaust, the event began with a moment of silence, in accordance with United Nations Resolution 60/7 which urges State Members to implement programs to remember the lessons that this stage in history left for humanity.
