Ninety year old, Mr. Leon Horn, survivor of this international crime, shared his testimony before the audience and the media who were sensitized and moved by his story. He is grateful to God for his existence, the continuity of his life and for the privilege of standing in front of "people of good will and emissaries of peace", and for having been chosen by the GEAP to be the first link of the ineffable chain of remembrance in this country.
Caracas, Venezuela, held a tribute for Mrs. Nusia Wacher, a survivor of the Holocaust, at the Poland Embassy in Venezuela, along with the presence of His Excellency Mr. Ambassador of Poland, Piotr Kaszuba, and the Global Ambassador of the Global Embassy of Activists for Peace (GEAP), Dr. William Soto Santiago.
The Holocaust or Shoah was the systematic murder and bureaucratically organized genocide of more than 20 million people in Europe, committed by the Nazi regime and its collaborators.
Thus the Ambassador of Poland in the Aztec country received the Holocaust commemorative plaque last August 19 from Global Ambassador of Peace, Dr. William Soto Santiago. The plaque, which was unveiled earlier at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de Mexico where it remained in exhibition for the student community, contains the hand prints of survivor, Mr. Bedrich Steiner, his daughter and his grandson, and will stay at this embassy for 30 days.
Global Ambassador, Dr. William Soto, visionary and project creator of the International Judicial Forums: "JUSTICE FOR PEACE," pointed out the importance of being vigilant of global alarm signals that may indicate the presence of serious human rights violations which can trigger genocides, as has unfortunately already happened.
