Angelo Vasco Matusse was elected judge of the African Court for Human Rights and of the People (Mozambique) in June of 2014.
As attorney general assistant of Mozambique, he has been a defender of the State in the Supreme Court since 2007. He was the main assistant of the attorney general (1998-2007). Previously, he had duties in private practice.
He is a professor of International Public Law, Human Rights, and Transport Law in the Eduardo Mondlane University since 1992, and in the International Association of European Parliamentarians for Africa (AWEPA).
He has a Bachelor’s degree in Law and two masters in International Law, titles granted by the State University in Baku in 199,1 and in International Law of Business from the QMW College of the University of London in 1995.
