As part of the Integral Program “Life is in the Blood”, the volunteers of the Global Embassy of Activists for Peace (GEAP) in Olavarria, Buenos Aires, Argentina, started on January 25, 2016, the seventh International Blood Drive Marathon.
January, the first month of the year, finds the volunteers of the Global Embassy of Activists for Peace (GEAP) of Olavarria, Buenos Aires, Argentina, promoting the Educational Communicational Program of the campaign “Life is in the Blood”.
The streets of the city of Olavarria was the setting chosen to seek for people who want to join to the formation of a culture of a voluntary and regular safe blood donation; proposal encouraged by Dr. William Soto, Global Ambassador of the GEAP.
At the same time, the people were invited to participate on February 5, in the “Centro Educativo Complementario Nº 802” of the first blood drive marathon of the year, which will add efforts and will bring peace to the people who because of an accident or other motive need these drops of hope to save their lives.
In this way, Olavarria joins the Seventh International Marathon “Life is in the Blood”, compromised with the consolidation of a culture of a regular, voluntary and altruist blood donation.
