The University of Texas at El Paso hosted the University Forums, “The Holocaust, Paradigm of Genocide”

On May 20th, 2015, the University of Texas at El Paso hosted the University Forums, “The Holocaust, Paradigm of Genocide” and unveiled the Traces to Remember plaque containing the palm prints of Holocaust survivor, Mr. David Kaplan.

In coordination with the directors of the institution, lectures and documentaries were provided about the history of the Holocaust. More than 300 parents had an opportunity to discuss and reflect on the factors that led to the Nazi barbarity during WWII; intolerance, lack of respect for life and human dignity, discrimination, and lack of sensitivity, among others.
